Queen Bed
Starts at $130 per night
The Loft room has a narrow staircase leading up to the room, a hint at the colonial heritage of the building. The room itself is quaint and quite roomy. Although it does have sloped ceilings in areas that help achieve its cosy setting and is another hint at the age of the building. The room enjoys a queen-size bed. It also has a kitchenette and shower/toilet, complete with a suite of amenities to keep you comfortable during your stay which can be viewed below.
Pricing: $130 per night.
Children under 5 years not permitted in this room because of the steep staircase.
This was an amazing place to stay, in a loft in the oldest building in Sorell. The room was adorable and so comfortable. Tea and coffee was available and it also had a microwave for convenience. The added stories about the building when we arrived all added to the magical experience

We stayed in the loft room at Sorrel Barracks in late April. Lovely spacious rooms and picturesque scenery make for a very pleasant stay. Close walk to the pub, shops and cafes. The hosts are lovely, friendly on arrival and happy to help with anything we needed.
